Job Description:

Position: Project Manager
Job type: Contract
Skills: Project Management, Organisation and planning, knowledge management, incident management corporate banking, implementations.
Location: This role will be based in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, which is commutable from Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire, Oxfordshire, Leicestershire, Middlesex, Hertfordshire.
Duration: 3 months
Rate: Up to £500 per day

Outsource UK are actively seeking to recruit a Project Manager for a 3 month initial contract based with our key financial services Client, that we are working with as a first tier supplier.

The Client:

Leading & forward thinking global financial services organisation
On site worldwide presence

The Job:

Working as a Project Manager on a large project implementation, the project manager will be required to undertake a variety of tasks including:

Prepare and maintain realistic project/service plans
Attend and co-ordinate regular meetings and communicate with stakeholders to discuss project delivery
Produce regular reports on the progress of the projects
Lead and manage the project team in order to meet project objectives and deliverables
Manage the smooth transition of projects from the project phase into business as usual operational support
Ensure projects are properly controlled in terms of financial reporting and risk management

Skills Required:

The successful candidates must have:

Previous knowledge of working in a corporate banking environment
Knowledge of leading project teams and being able to operate with a high level of business engagement
Successful management skills on large project implementations
Knowledge of matrix managing project teams
Knowledge of managing the whole project life-cycle
