Job Description:

Position: Websphere Application Server and MQ Administrator

Job type: Permanent

Skills: WAS/MQ/WPS Middleware Administrator

Location: London - City

Salary: c.£50K

Outsource UK Ltd is actively seeking to recruit a Websphere Application Server and WAS/MQ Administrator for a permanent role with one of our financial services clients.

Skills Required:

-Experience of working as a WAS/MQ administrator on multiple platforms and experience in administering and upgrading MQ and WAS infrastructure. Must be an SME in this area.

-Must have worked with stakeholders to design, develop and build MQ components/infrastructure and have a detailed understanding of securing the MQ infrastructure based on SSL security exits.

-Should have experience of MQ6/MQ7 development, administration and support.

The Client:

Investment Bank.

The Job:

-Installation, Configuration and Administration of WAS on Linux and Windows platforms.

-Design and Develop MQ components.

-Develop JACL and Powershell scripts for automation of administration activities.

-Support testing and validation during the project development life-cycle.
