E-Timesheets

Certain Contractors at Outsource UK use e-timesheets to record the hours they have worked. (NB all other contractors will be required to use alternative client specific timesheet solutions).

CONTRACTORS

Once your contract is finalised, you will be contacted by our Accounts team to confirm that you have been set up to use our online timesheet system. You will then receive an activation email, which will enable you to go in and activate your account.

We require you to submit timesheets for approval on a weekly basis.

Important information for completing timesheets

When you enter your timesheet, you will need to enter your hours and then at the bottom you will see an entry headed daily rate. This box is where you enter the number of days worked and you will need to enter 1 if you worked a full day, 0.5 if you worked half a day and so forth (the system allows for parts of days worked in increments of 0.25

If it is headed standard rate, you will need to enter the number of hours worked that day (this is what is shown in the total box in the table above it.)

AUTHORISING MANAGERS

Once the contractor has commenced work, you will be contacted by our Accounts team to set up your account and provide guidance for approving weekly timesheets. You will then receive an activation email, which will enable you to go in and activate your account.

Important information

Please note that if a timesheet shows daily rate then you are approving the number of days worked and if it shows standard rate it is the number of hours that you are approving.

If you do not approve a timesheet when it is submitted, you will be prompted with a reminder email the next morning.
