Location: Flexible (Base at Barrow, Brough, or Filton; on-site visits as required)

Duration: 12-month contract
Hourly Rate: £53.73 per hour PAYE or £70.90 Umbrella
About the Role
In this critical role, you will act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Maintenance Derivation and Logistic Support Analysis (LSA), ensuring that the highest standards of Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) are achieved.

About the Role
In this critical role, you will act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Maintenance Derivation and Logistic Support Analysis (LSA), ensuring that the highest standards of Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) are achieved.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery and assurance of maintenance and ILS outputs.
- Apply industry, corporate, and Ministry of Defence (MoD) standards, ensuring compliance with JSP 935, DefStan 00-055, and IEC 61508.
- Provide guidance to internal stakeholders, suppliers, and customers, contributing to the effective delivery of support solutions.
- Analyse software products and develop support strategies tailored to system and equipment levels.
- Produce detailed reports, case studies, and recommendations on software support strategies.
- Collaborate with industry partners, customers, and internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of support solutions.
- A background in ILS software support or engineering.
- Strong analytical skills to address complex software support issues.
- Degree-qualified in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
- Understanding of key standards (JSP 935, DefStan 00-055, IEC 61508).
- Experience with tools such as Teamcenter (desirable).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Chartered Engineer status or the ability to achieve it.
