IT Service Operations Manager - ITSM - SIAM

Outsource UK is currently looking for a IT Service Operations Manager to join my FS client in London for a 3 month contract.

Candidates are able to work through their Ltd company, candidates will be expected to work 2-3 days onsite.

The IT Service Operations Manager will join a leading banking client and work on an exciting project to help ensure a risk based approach to the delivery of the IT Service Operations by the IT ecosystem to the clients End Users.

Responsibilities for IT Service Operations Manager:

  • You will work on the provision of the IT Services by working with technical, process and service teams in a coordinated manner to deliver effective and efficient service provision
  • You will be working closely with various teams in IT technical, service, commercial, risk, performance and ITSM process teams to and help reduce business impact through effective IT operations.
  • Managing an third parties to deliver ITSM, SIAM, Service Desk & Desk Side Support services.
  • Oversight & manage Major Incidents, Hit Squads or high profile activities when needed
  • Recommend and drive technical teams to reduce impact, risk and improve performance
  • You will ensure the Service Desk & Desk Side supports are delivering great user first service, and promoting amongst the EcoSystem through the SIAM team

Essential Skills Required

  • Extensive skills in IT Service Management (ITSM) and Service Integration and Management (SIAM)
  • Able to speak to stakeholders and third parties - create lasting relationships.
  • Background in ITSM tools and good technical capabilities and can 'translate' technical requirements to business teams
  • Previously worked in banking and financial industry
