About the Role
You’ll take on a leading role in delivering complex design activities, mentoring team members, and ensuring the quality of engineering outputs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and progress mechanical design activities using CAD tools.
- Support and mentor team members, including early careers professionals.
- Check and approve design work to ensure quality and compliance.
- Provide technical advice and support for complex design challenges.
- Collaborate across teams to deliver successful project outcomes.
- Experience in mechanical design, ideally in a defence or related industry.
- Proficiency in design tools and processes, with a strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- HNC/HND qualification or equivalent experience in a related discipline (preferred).
