Procurement Manager - must have Transport/Fleet experience
£450 per day umbrella
Mostly remote with occasional travel to Wiltshire
5 months initially

Are you a Procurement Manager with Transport/Fleet experience, ideally with Fleet software such as MHE, looking for a new contract role?
And are you open to working 4 days per week?
My major client within the logistics sector is looking for someone to join ASAP.
Key responsibilities include:
- Support the development of a robust Procurement strategy and negotiate new best-in-class agreements.
- Provide procurement expertise to negotiate optimum supply terms, formalise supply contracts and implement suitably authorised, acceptable, preferred/approved supply arrangements to satisfy Company strategy and business needs.
- Develop, measure and monitor KPI's, Supply Level Agreements and continuous improvement for category through quarterly reviews with suppliers. Work closely with the operations in order to deliver a robust supplier management programme that can be delivered on an on-going basis.
- Continually strive to improve supplier performance through internal feedback and a close working relationship with suppliers and internal customers.
Experience Required:
- Demonstrable experience within a Procurement/Category/Commercial management type role.
- Transport/Fleet Management, ideally MHE or other software.
- Experience of working to procurement governance and delivering relevant value in a challenging environment
