Collaborate with a skilled group of Project Engineers, a data modeller, an Automation SME, and a CAD technician, while sharing insights with the broader Distribution Build team across our European logistics sites.

What You’ll Do:
- Lead Project Delivery: Oversee the entire project lifecycle for warehouse automation, from concept design to execution, ensuring efficient implementation of state-of-the-art material handling systems.
- Manage Vendor Relationships: Take charge of vendor management, contracts, and adherence to industry standards to ensure the successful deployment of automation solutions.
- Coordinate with Stakeholders: Collaborate closely with teams in HR, Procurement, and Finance to align project objectives and secure necessary resources.
- Ensure Compliance: Act as the technical authority, guaranteeing all projects meet Construction Design Management (CDM) regulations and industry standards for safety and efficiency.
- Facilitate Seamless Integration: Leverage your expertise to ensure smooth integration of automation technologies (like conveyor systems, robotics, and sortation systems) with existing warehouse operations and other MHE projects.
- Drive Results: Utilize best practices and your experience to engage with internal and external partners, delivering projects on time and within budget while optimizing warehouse processes.

What You Bring:
- Engineering Expertise: A professional qualification in engineering or equivalent experience focused on warehouse automation and project delivery.
- Proven Track Record: Extensive experience in successfully leading technical projects specifically related to warehouse automation systems in highly automated environments.
- Market Insight: In-depth knowledge of current trends and technologies in warehouse automation, such as robotic picking, automated storage and retrieval systems, and advanced sorting technologies.
- Strong Teamwork Skills: Thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, working cross-functionally to achieve project goals.
- Results-Driven Mindset: Demonstrated problem-solving abilities with strong formal and informal communication skills.
- Safety Compliance: Knowledge of electrical installation norms and relevant regulations to ensure safe project execution.
- 5+ years of project delivery experience in warehouse automation or related fields within the construction industry.
- Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with CAD and project scheduling software is advantageous.
- EIT certification preferred, with a background in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture.
