We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Salesforce Product Owner, To join our client's new IT team developing and supporting their Services system. We're investing in Salesforce and expect to do more and more with the platform in future (including use of Service Cloud, Experience Cloud and Marketing Cloud products).

You'll be working in a new IT team supporting and developing the Trust's new Membership and Donation Services system. Based on Salesforce Service Cloud, the complete solution includes several other third-party or native Salesforce applications, all of which will need developing, managing and supporting to a high standard. You'll be responsible for the specialist technical management and ownership of all elements of the platform and its integration into wider IT infrastructure.

Who we're looking for

To be successful in this role you will need to have:

  • Strong experience of Salesforce multi cloud in a large complex organisation (non-profit experience would be particularly relevant) and a strong understanding of the Salesforce data model, Salesforce development, integration, identity & access management, and deployment experience.
  • Current relevant Salesforce Certifications such as Salesforce Application Architect, Platform Dev 1. and Platform App Builder or equivalent experience across the breadth of the application in a real-world environment.
  • Experience of product architecture and developing architecture options working with architects, creating technical product roadmaps, and managing all stages of the product lifecycle. All in the context of understanding and awareness of the wider organisational IT context.
  • The ability to take your technical understanding of the Salesforce platform and carry this knowledge into strategic decisions about the best solutions for business problems, whilst keeping up to date with the Salesforce product roadmap.
  • Experience of producing clear and concise technical documentation.
  • Experience of delivery within an Agile environment, working across projects, continuous improvement and product enhancements across the full Salesforce project lifecycle and Software Development Lifecycle processes, including facilitating and participating in Technical and End User Acceptance Testing.
  • Experience of working in a complex environment with multiple parties providing services, problem solving, defining and supporting the implementation of mitigations and fixes to production issues, managing and delivering changes in this environment, collaborating with both internal and external resources.
  • Strong track record of teamwork, collaborative working, communications and stakeholder management (including working with non-technical stakeholders).
