Senior Procurement Manager - Hertfordshire - CIPS - permanent - £60000-£70000 + benefits Outsource UK are recruiting for a Senior Procurement Manager to join a leading organisation in Watford This role is very much standalone and you will be responsible for the procurement of the business in its entirety. You will be responsible for procurement across the entire organisation and will deal with 1000s of suppliers in different areas, so we are really looking for someone to come in and drive change and really get things organised. In addition, the role will be responsible for designing and communicating effective procurement policies and processes to ensure quality standards are maintained. This includes responsibility for implementing and monitoring SLAs and KPIs, alongside management reporting tools. Please note the organisation are currently working from home but the offices are open for anyone that wishes to go in, in the long term they offer flexibility between home and office working Experience required:Full membership of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) or equivalent, relevant experience.Demonstrable experience working in a standalone role at a senior level in a procurementA strong understanding of contract management and the role of procurement in negotiating favourable terms and conditionsExtensive background working as a Procurement Manager developing a strategic supplier base and building a performance matrix for ongoing assessment.Experience of procuring service contracts across a range of activities covering maintenance and new product developmentExperience and understanding of working within quality management systems, specifically experience of managing and working within ISO 9001 / 45001 / 14001 Benefits Flexible workingPensionDevelopment opportunities22 days holiday + 3 days privilege Christmas shutdownOnsite ParkingOnsite gym, restaurant and nursery
