Data Management Professional

A Data Management Professional is required to work on a twelve month contract, with the possibility of extension for our Defence client based in Preston.

This is a 12 month contract with a leading UK defence business.

Overview of the Data Management Professional contract role

An opportunity has risen to join the E&I Engineering Weapon System Capability team to support an engineering data management and strategic data records activity.

The role is in support of the implementation of a new data management strategy across the Air Sector.

Key skills required for the Data Management Professional

  • Strong Expertise in Product Configuration and Data Management principles
  • Experience of toolsets DPDS/Teamcenter/ SAPCAM/ ASTRAL/BaanIV, IFS2004, IFS APPS7, JCR
  • Experience in Design documentation e.g. DRLs, DDPS, Technical Specifications, Design Standards, Drawings, QPLs

The role is based in Preston, Lancashire - commutable from Blackpool, Lancaster, Morecambe, Chorley, Leyland, Blackburn, Darwen, Burnley, Skipton, Stockport, Manchester, Warrington, Wigan, Bolton, Bury, Rochdale and Oldham with excellent access from Liverpool and Leeds
