Detail Designer- Outfit
Contract- 12months
Based in Glasgow, but there is flexibility for Portsmouth/Bristol
£28.44/hr PAYE or £37.53/hr Umbrella
2 or 3 days on site per week.
Our defence client is currently looking for a number of Outfit Designers. This will be developing Ship design specifications under guidance and carry out Engineering Design activities in line with specifications and all quality and technical standards, examples being development of outfit packages and General Arrangements.
Skills
- Engineering degree qualified or similar
- Submarine, Shipbuilding, Aeronautical or Civil structural design/analysis experience
- A strong knowledge of outfit
- Familiarity with Naval design standards
