Regulatory and Conduct Advisory Manager
Salary: up to £65,000 + Benefits + Bonus
Location: Flexible due to hybrid working model (Office is based in Scotland)
6-month Fixed Term Contract
Our client is currently going through an exciting period and is looking for an experienced conduct and regulatory risk specialist to support in delivering good outcomes for all their customers.
This role provides compliance advice (predominantly conduct regulatory advice) to critical stakeholders across both their lending and savings value streams. This role is key in embedding good customer outcomes and comes with a good level of autonomy.

What you’ll be doing:
- Provide general compliance advice to the lending or savings businesses
- Guide the businesses in embedding good customer outcomes.
- Excellent awareness of, and ability to apply regulation (e.g., CONC, BCOBS, SYSC, DISP)
- A thorough understanding of Consumer Duty and how it applies practically to retail banks, including how this impacts product governance, consumer support, communication and outcomes monitoring
- A solid understanding of lending and/or deposit products (loans, credit cards and savings accounts) and how regulation impacts how they operate
- Strong ability to influence regulatory change initiatives and work on initiative and suggest improvements
- Courage to directly challenge senior stakeholders and do what is right for the customer.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to present complex messages clearly and at a level appropriate for the audience.
