Terminal Manager - COMAH
Eastham, Wirral
Monday – Friday, 8 am – 4 pm
£60,000 - £65,000 plus bonus and benefits
A Terminal Manager is wanted permanently by a global client of ours. The successful candidate will manage the operation and administration of the terminal in a secure, efficient and profitable manner. The successful candidate must ensure conformity with company policies on health and safety, environment, Quality and Security.
This is a permanent opportunity that includes a base salary of between £60,000 - £65,000 (dependent upon experience and qualifications) plus bonus, and benefits.

Overview of the Terminal Manager role:
- Ensure a personal understanding of the Health, Safety and Environmental requirements relating to the control of major accident hazards
- Work alongside company Senior Managers, the Major Accident Prevention Policy and Safety Management System annually or in the event of any major changes to the business. Ensure all actions resulting from this review are carried out.
- Ensure whatever action is considered necessary to prevent risk to employees, subcontractors, visitors, the public, or the environment. This includes the authority to stop all or part of a task where the risk is considered serious.
- Ensure the On-Site Emergency Plan is suitable and sufficient and all staff are trained in procedures
Key skills and qualifications required for the Terminal Manager role:
- Experience managing teams and sites in a top-tier COMAH environment.
- Relevant qualification(s) in Health and Safety e.g NEBOSH/IOSH/Permit to work
- Experience with Chemical Bulk Liquids/Tank Farms/Road Tankers/Fuels.
