Hello - I'm Rebecca and I am responsible for keeping all our Contractors happy and compliant; this does involve putting out the occasional fire! Once that is done, I look forward into the future to anticipate and prevent any future fires from starting.
What’s the best thing about your role at Outsource on a typical day?
One word, variety – I don’t have a typical day because we have so many diverse clients, candidates, and contractors and I never know what is around the next corner. Because of this, I get to speak to just about everyone in the business to ensure we get to the ideal solution.
What are the best things about working at Outsource overall?
The people, without exception, everyone is happy to help me with the questions I have and provide me with the information I need to ensure our business is carried out in a compliant, customer focussed fashion.
Is there anyone you rely on in the team to help you do your job?
Absolutely! All of the Onboarding and Contractor Care Consultants make my life super easy, they are so committed to keeping their internal and external stakeholders happy that I don’t even need to worry about micromanaging. My manager, Vicky, is also always on the other end of the phone with advice and to act as a sounding board.
Any career highlight so far that you would like to mention?
Winning MVP during our lock-down end of year event. The thought of being recognised in such a way never even entered my mind but the feeling of being recognised across the business was amazing!
Any social event highlights you would like to mention?
All of them, and I have been fortunate enough to have been to quite a few, it’s always fun to spend time with people who are based in other offices.
