BAE Systems are currently seeking an experienced Airworthiness Engineer to support the ongoing development and assurance of our airworthiness capability within the engineering function.
The Job:
- Drive the development and continuous improvement of the Airworthiness & Product Integrity capability.
- Contribute to capability uplift initiatives and improvement projects, including business case development.
- Maintain and enhance the Airworthiness Management System (AMS), including audit scheduling, document control, and quality management reviews.
- Support the technical review of design and airworthiness documentation to help assure flight safety.
- Lead and support regulatory compliance activities: assess regulatory changes, plan implementation, and maintain compliance for the Design Organisation.
Skills:
- Degree (or equivalent experience) in a STEM subject.
- Experience in aircraft design, development, and airworthiness assurance.
- Strong understanding of civil and military airworthiness environments, including standards such as CS25 and CAP722.
- Proficient with MS Office tools and engineering toolsets.
- Excellent communication, team working, and supervisory skills.
