£39.51 PAYE OR £53.24per hour inside IR35

Onsite 2-3 days per week
  
BAE Systems are currently seeking an experienced Airworthiness Engineer to support the ongoing development and assurance of our airworthiness capability within the engineering function.
  
The Job:
  • Drive the development and continuous improvement of the Airworthiness & Product Integrity capability.
  • Contribute to capability uplift initiatives and improvement projects, including business case development.
  • Maintain and enhance the Airworthiness Management System (AMS), including audit scheduling, document control, and quality management reviews.
  • Support the technical review of design and airworthiness documentation to help assure flight safety.
  • Lead and support regulatory compliance activities: assess regulatory changes, plan implementation, and maintain compliance for the Design Organisation.
  
Skills:
  • Degree (or equivalent experience) in a STEM subject.
  • Experience in aircraft design, development, and airworthiness assurance.
  • Strong understanding of civil and military airworthiness environments, including standards such as CS25 and CAP722.
  • Proficient with MS Office tools and engineering toolsets.
  • Excellent communication, team working, and supervisory skills.
