Assistant Finance Accountant
Client: BAE Systems
Location: Glascoed, South Wales
Duration: 12 months
Hourly Rate: £16.27 PAYE
Working Arrangements: 1-2 days per week in the office

Key Responsibilities
- Support month-end close activities including journals, accruals, and prepayments
- Assist in preparation of management accounts and financial reports
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate variances
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes
- Assist with audit requirements and financial compliance activities
- Maintain accurate financial records in line with company policies
- Work collaboratively with operational stakeholders to support cost control
About You
- Part-qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) or qualified by experience
- Experience in a manufacturing or complex corporate environment desirable
- Strong Excel and financial systems knowledge (e.g. SAP advantageous)
- Excellent analytical and reconciliation skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
