Client: BAE Systems
Job Title: Associate Process Engineer
Duration: 12 months
Location: Glascoed NP15 1XL - 3 days per week on-site
Hourly Rate: £28.00 PAYE or £37.61 Umbrella
Working Arrangements: - 37hrs per week

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop manufacturing documentation for manufacturing processes in line with engineering plans and business requirements to ensure compliance with statutory legislation.
  • Author technical specifications for plant and equipment, ensuring appropriate stakeholders review and approve technical specifications.
  • Draft Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) for manufacturing processes, ensure SOPs align to process control documentation i.e. Process Control Plans, PFMEA and risk assessment.
  • Develop and maintain documentation suites that support manufacture of product and support safe operation of process i.e. manufacturing plans and risk assessment.
  • Coordinate and manage project data files capturing process and plant information; to include acceptance testing, trials and commissioning.
Skills & Qualifications:
  • A national engineering qualification or a time served apprenticeship in an engineering discipline.
  • Experience within a Process, Manufacturing or Production engineering environment.
  • You have been part of a team that is responsible for the generation of supporting documentation for a manufacturing capability i.e. Manufacturing plans, PFMEA, Work Instructions.
  • You have experience in drafting technical specifications for manufacturing plant and equipment.
