Contract: 12 Months - 37 hours
Based: Preston, Lancashire
Day Rate: £379.75 PAYE or £512.55 Umbrella inside IR35
Hybrid – onsite 2 days per month

BAE Systems are currently recruiting for an experienced Business Analyst to join a major IT and business transformation portfolio, supporting the delivery of multiple concurrent projects within a complex stakeholder environment.

The Job:
- Elicit, analyse, document and gain approval for business, functional and non-functional requirements.
- Lead workshops with stakeholders at all levels to capture requirements and business processes.
- Define and document current and future state ("as-is" and "to-be") processes.
- Support Project Managers with stakeholder identification, scope definition and business justification.
- Act as the voice of the customer, supporting development teams, suppliers and test teams.
- Ensure traceability between requirements, designs and delivered solutions.
- Support business change activities including communications, training and adoption planning.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of project and business analysis processes.
Key Skills
- Proven Business Analyst experience within a structured IT project environment.
- Strong requirements elicitation, analysis and documentation skills.
- Experience facilitating workshops with technical and business stakeholders.
- Demonstrable experience analysing and documenting complex business processes.
- End-to-end project lifecycle experience.
