Working Hours: 4.5-day week (07:30–16:00 Mon–Thu, 07:20–12:00 Fri; flexible 30 mins later start/finish if required)
Hourly Rate: Up to £35 Umbrella
  
Overview
The role will suit a procurement professional with strong problem-solving skills and a background in manufacturing. You will be responsible for transactional procurement activity, ensuring materials and services are sourced efficiently while overcoming day-to-day challenges.
  
Key Responsibilities

• Manage direct material procurement activity, ensuring timely and cost-effective supply.
• Operate within SAP to process and track procurement transactions.
• Work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain smooth supply chain operations.
• Support the facility team by addressing procurement challenges with a solutions-focused approach.
• Contribute to continuous improvement within procurement processes.

Experience & Skills

• Proven direct material procurement experience (essential).
• Strong SAP experience (essential).
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment (essential).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; ETQ knowledge beneficial.
• Strong problem-solving capability with a proactive attitude.
• Excellent communication skills, able to face challenges head-on.
