Role Purpose
To support the recruitment, development, and progression of engineering early careers talent, including apprentices, graduates, and interns. The role ensures structured development, mentoring, and readiness for engineering roles.

Role Purpose
To support the recruitment, development, and progression of engineering early careers talent, including apprentices, graduates, and interns. The role ensures structured development, mentoring, and readiness for engineering roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Support recruitment, attraction, and induction of early careers engineers.
- Act as Functional Lead for apprentices and graduates, providing mentoring and guidance.
- Conduct regular reviews, assessments, and development planning.
- Coordinate placements to ensure appropriate skills and experience development.
- Support professional registration and career progression activities.
- Assist with careers events, university engagement, and outreach initiatives.
- Maintain development records and early careers programme documentation.
- Support diversity and inclusion initiatives within engineering.
Knowledge:
- Understanding of engineering career pathways and development programmes.
- Awareness of professional registration and competency frameworks.
- Strong communication, mentoring, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Good organisational and planning abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Engineering or STEM degree, or equivalent relevant experience.
