Role Title: Electronic Engineer
Function: Engineering (Hardware)
Location: Broad Oak (Remote with occasional site visits)
Rate: £60.00 per hour (PAYE)

Role Overview
This role focuses on the electrical design of electronic hardware, supporting both new product development and upgrades to legacy systems. You will deliver designs from concept through to completion, working within a multi-disciplinary engineering team.
  
Key Responsibilities

• Design AC/DC power generation and distribution systems
• Develop motor drives, control, and positioning systems
• Manage and verify EMC compliance
• Specify and support procurement of bespoke hardware
• Conduct design verification (simulation, analysis, testing)
• Produce technical documentation and reports
• Collaborate across engineering disciplines
• Support design reviews and engineering lifecycle activities
• Provide electrical engineering expertise to project teams

Safety
Responsible for maintaining high standards of Safety, Health & Environment (SHE), including following procedures, reporting risks, and safe use of equipment.
  
Knowledge & Skills

• Electronic design for volume production
• Familiarity with electrical safety standards and DEF STAN 59-411
• Experience with high power/high voltage systems
• PCB design support and integration
• Background in defence or high-integrity environments preferred
• Strong problem-solving, integration, and defect resolution skills

• Security clearance required (minimum BPSS; higher clearance may apply)
• Typically requires 5–10 years UK residency for vetting
