Engineering Project Manager
Location: Rochester, BAE Systems
Working Arrangements: Full time on site
Duration: 12 months
Hourly Rate: £52.46 PAYE or £70.81 Umbrella

BAE Systems are looking for an experienced Engineering Project Manager to lead engineering programmes within the Electronic Systems team.

Key Responsibilities

Manage engineering projects through the full project lifecycle.
Provide technical leadership and direction to engineering teams.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to required standards.
Liaise with customers, stakeholders, suppliers and support functions.
Monitor project schedules, costs and risks.
Support and guide engineering teams to achieve project objectives.
Drive continuous improvement and best practice.

Essential Requirements

Proven experience leading engineering projects involving electronic or real-time systems.
Strong technical engineering background.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Ability to lead teams and take ownership of project delivery.
Degree in Engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
HNC qualification as a minimum.
Aerospace or Defence industry background.
Around 10 years' engineering experience.
Previous experience progressing from an engineering role into project management.
