Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and delivery of labour relations strategy aligned to business objectives
- Build and maintain effective relationships with trade unions and employee representatives
- Provide expert guidance on employment legislation, including the Employment Rights Act
- Support the Head of Labour Relations on key initiatives, negotiations, and casework
- Advise managers on employee relations matters, ensuring best practice and consistency
- Contribute to policy development and continuous improvement of HR processes
- Assist with dispute resolution, consultations, and organisational change activity
- Proven experience in a labour relations or employee relations HR role
- Strong understanding of UK employment law, particularly within unionised environments
- Experience working with trade unions and collective agreements
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to operate in a complex, fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation capabilities
- Degree in Human Resources or a related discipline
- CIPD qualification (desirable)
