Job Description

Job: Logistics Analyst
Duration: 6-12 months
Location: Samlesbury
Hourly Rate: £21.38 PAYE or £28.63 Umbrella
Working Arrangements: - Fully on-site
Working Hours: - (06.30hrs – 19:00hrs Mon – Thurs, 06:30pm – 12.30pm Fri).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Order book management and maintenance.
  • Release of kits & expedition of internal & external supply chain shortages, including obtaining forecasts & driving supply chain improvements where required to support delivery of scheduled commitments to the customers.
  • Provision of active support to the resolution of problems affecting the ability of operations to work to the workload plan.
  • Support effective reviews to facilitate supply chain performance and ensure any logistics actions are closed in a timely manner.
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience within a logistics planning and/or supply chain role and awareness of procedures and processes, including an awareness & understanding of Export Control
  • IT proficient, including the use of MS software such as outlook and excel
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to engage and work well with a number of cross functional stakeholders
  • Experience within a Manufacturing and supply chain environment and an awareness of governance within a such environments
  • Working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems
  • Working knowledge of EMS (our Typhoon SPEC Tracking system)
