Are you a time-served engineer with experience setting and operating power presses?

We're looking for a Manufacturing Press Technician to join BAE Systems' advanced manufacturing facility at Radway Green, supporting the production of small arms ammunition on a modern, high-tech site.

What You'll Be Doing

• Setting and operating power press machinery.
• Carrying out basic maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Performing press safety inspections and equipment checks.
• Supporting production, quality and efficiency targets.
• Identifying and resolving manufacturing issues.
• Driving continuous improvement activities.
• Maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

What We're Looking For

• Time-served engineering apprenticeship (essential).
• Experience within a mechanical manufacturing environment.
• Previous power press setting and operating experience.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing safety procedures.
• Background in high-volume production environments.

Desirable

• Press inspection certification/training.
• SPC and Keyence measuring equipment experience.
• SAP and Microsoft Office knowledge.
