Payroll Advisor
Start: ASAP
Pay: £250 per day - Inside IR35- Umbrella rate
Location: Bristol- 2-3 days per week but is flex on this
Contract Length- 8 Months initially
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Processing monthly end-to-end payroll.
  • Check, control and maintain amendments to employee pay and IME (International Mobile Employees).
  • Calculate and prepare international salary, tax and pension payments.
  • Reconcile and provide returns and associated payments to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain specific controls and control documentation for line management.
  • Support employees with payroll-related queries.
  • Handle high-volume queries across all levels of the company, demonstrating excellent customer service at all times.
  • Carry out ad hoc requests as required, accurately and within required timeframes.
  • Liaise with the third-party payroll provider.
 
Required Skills and Experience
  • Previous experience managing large payrolls with varying levels of complexity.
  • Knowledge of Tax & NI rules.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels internally and externally.
  • Adaptable, with the ability to respond quickly to changing priorities.
  • Formal qualification desirable, but strong understanding of payroll calculations is more important.
  • Excellent organisational skills, including prioritisation and ability to work independently while being a strong team player.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
