PCB Design Engineer
Location: Cowes | 6-Month Contract | Hybrid Working - 3-4 days a week onsite | £51.60 PAYE or £69.65 Umbrella

BAE Systems is looking for an experienced PCB Design Engineer to join a specialist electronics team supporting advanced defence programmes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design complex PCB layouts using Cadence Allegro.
- Deliver PCB designs from concept through to manufacture.
- Produce manufacturing data packs and technical documentation.
- Support design reviews, verification and qualification activities.
- Resolve technical issues across the product lifecycle.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Strong PCB design experience within a complex engineering environment.
- Proficient in Cadence Allegro (essential).
- Experience with multi-layer, high-speed digital, RF and mixed-signal PCB design.
- Knowledge of EMC/EMI design principles and PCB qualification.
- Familiarity with flexible PCBs, controlled impedance and advanced via technologies.
- HNC/HND/Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- CEng status or working towards Chartered Engineer level desirable.
