Portfolio Manager
Location: Bury St Edmonds
Salary: Up to £70,000 + Car Allowance
Working Hours: Monday to Friday/Hybrid working - 2 days at home

Outsource UK is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a leading organisation for a Portfolio Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced leader to oversee and deliver technology-enabled business change, driving a portfolio of projects that are strategically important and deliver real value.

The Role As Portfolio Manager

Manage, prioritise, and schedule a portfolio of projects aligned with business strategy.
Lead project management and business analysis best practice across your team.
Oversee dependencies, risks, and issues across multiple projects, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
Manage and develop a team of internal and external Project Managers and Business Analysts.
Partner with business functions to deliver end-to-end excellence in project delivery.
Track and report portfolio progress with a focus on scope, budget, resources, and schedule.
Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies early in the project lifecycle.

We’re looking for someone who can bring:

Solid Experience with Business Applications/ERP and Financial systems
Good understanding of financial processes and working within financial teams
Proven experience in Portfolio Management, prioritisation, and dependency management across multiple projects.
Significant experience of full project lifecycle delivery using Waterfall methodologies.
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to work across diverse business functions
