Job Title: P6 Planner
Location: Barrow-in-Furness
Contract length: 12 months
Days on site: 2/3 days per week
Rate: £40 PAYE or £53.90 Umbrella
About The Role:
You will manage the PM&C processes of a small project, or a part of a larger, more complex project, (such as a particular work package), or will support a Project Manager with aspects of managing PM&C on a larger project, all within the Submarines division of BAE Systems.

About The Role:
You will manage the PM&C processes of a small project, or a part of a larger, more complex project, (such as a particular work package), or will support a Project Manager with aspects of managing PM&C on a larger project, all within the Submarines division of BAE Systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Intermediate project reporting & scheduling
- Accountable for supporting development and implementation of appropriately tailored planning, monitoring and controls practices.
- May have supervisory responsibilities for a one or two staff members.
- Expected to provide technical support to team members.
- Accountable for ensuring one or more aspects of PM&C practices in the project are suitable for purpose.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Hands on experience with Primavera P6 - Mandatory
- Experience working within defence - desirable
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of PM&C policies, processes, procedures and systems.
- Comprehensive PM&C experience demonstrated in a professional capacity within a project.
- Good knowledge and understanding of their projects.
- Comprehensive understanding of one or more PM&C tools techniques and practices.
