As a Project Accountant, you will be an integral part of the finance team, working closely with project managers and business leaders to deliver robust financial planning, analysis, and control.

As a Project Accountant, you will be an integral part of the finance team, working closely with project managers and business leaders to deliver robust financial planning, analysis, and control.
Key Responsibilities
- Support project teams with financial insight and performance tracking
- Prepare and review project forecasts, budgets, and variance analyses
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of project costs and revenues
- Assist in the month-end and year-end accounting processes
- Provide input into bids, contract reviews, and investment appraisals
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and external regulations
- Liaise with stakeholders across finance, commercial, and operations teams
Skills & Qualifications
- Part-qualified or qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Experience in project accounting, management accounting, or similar roles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Excel and financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle or similar)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
Desirable
- Experience in defence, aerospace, engineering, or manufacturing sectors
- Knowledge of long-term contract accounting and cost-plus/fixed-price contracts
