Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the Senior Engineering Manager and wider IPT teams to identify and resolve delivery bottlenecks.
- Analyse data and performance metrics to forecast future delivery risks and issues.
- Facilitate root cause analysis and pull cross-functional teams together to resolve complex challenges.
- Influence line managers and delivery leads to drive timely engineering progress.
- Provide consulting-level input based on a strong engineering and technical delivery background.
- Support and maintain alignment across Stage 1 and Stage 2 engineering zones.
- Lead engineering assurance activities without hands-on design review responsibilities.
- Produce and present clear technical reports and stakeholder presentations.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong technical and engineering background (degree qualified).
- Prior experience in shipbuilding, maritime, or complex defence engineering programmes.
- Lifecycle or project delivery experience across complex programmes.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
- Presentation and reporting capability, both written and verbal.
