Pay Rates:
- Local: £19.40 PAYE / £25.94 Umbrella per hour
- Non-Local: £27.40 PAYE / £36.80 Umbrella per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform low-level electro/mechanical maintenance on Royal Navy ships.
- Support ship system readiness and safety post-STW.
- Issue and manage Permits to Work (Hot Work, Working at Height, etc.).
- Maintain tag-out records and ship system logs.
- Operate dockside service connections and main switchboards.
- Work shifts and oversee fire safety, watertight integrity, and security of engineering compartments.
- Knowledge of electrical safety and testing.
- Broad understanding of marine electro/mechanical systems.
- Strong focus on safety, responsibility, and continuous learning.
