Are you an experienced SAP professional with a background in Finance? Outsource UK is currently recruiting for an SAP Associate to join a dynamic and collaborative IT function within a major financial services organisation based in London.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work on critical SAP systems and applications that support core business operations.
The Role As an SAP Associate, you will be responsible for the support, maintenance, and enhancement of SAP applications and analytics tools. You'll work closely with users and stakeholders to ensure system reliability and optimal performance. This role demands both technical proficiency and business acumen, with a focus on SAP Finance modules within a highly regulated and mission-critical environment.

The Role As an SAP Associate, you will be responsible for the support, maintenance, and enhancement of SAP applications and analytics tools. You'll work closely with users and stakeholders to ensure system reliability and optimal performance. This role demands both technical proficiency and business acumen, with a focus on SAP Finance modules within a highly regulated and mission-critical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver expert support and configuration for SAP Finance modules (particularly FI), ensuring critical business processes remain uninterrupted.
- Work with stakeholders to interpret requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents and performance issues within the SAP platform.
- Configure SAP systems using the Implementation Guide (IMG) and coordinate with 3rd parties to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (Scrum, Kanban) and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain system documentation, manage test processes, and support change deployments into production.
- Deliver user training and contribute to a collaborative culture across technical teams.
- Solid experience configuring and supporting SAP Finance modules (FI), ideally with a background in accounting or financial services.
- Hands-on experience with SAP ECC; knowledge of Funds Management and Grants Management highly desirable.
- Understanding of SAP integration with other enterprise systems.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Experience in S/4HANA is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication abilities.
- Comfortable working independently while contributing to a wider cross-functional team.
- Degree qualified or with equivalent industry experience and relevant SAP certifications preferred.
