Hourly Rate: £22.00 paye, £29.47 Umbrella

Job Title: Senior Procurement Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
- Through LCM, plan, control, execute and monitor all in-scope transactional procurement and
contracting activity with minimal supervision - Undertake and support the team in Supplier assessment and due diligence activity to ensure the
effective selection of suppliers to meet business needs in line with quality, cost and delivery KPI’s - Adapt approach to ensure that negotiations are concluded for an optimised business outcome
- Develop, agree and implement the Procurement strategies and promote cross functional
collaboration to ensure full, thorough engagement and buy-in to contracting strategies
- Good negotiation and influencing skills -internal colleagues, Engineering, PM, Operations, Quality
functions, Suppliers and 3rd Party Providers - Good supplier and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Able to identify and manage Risk & Opportunities
- CIPS qualification or equivalent
