Role: Senior Quality Inspector

Hourly Rate: £41.69 UMBRELLA (INSIDE IR35)
Duration: 12 months, 37 hrs per week
Location: Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria (Onsite)
Clearance: BPSS + SC

You will play a critical part in ensuring that all inspection and quality activities meet the rigorous standards required for naval submarine programmes. This is an excellent chance to work within a highly skilled team supporting one of the UK’s most complex and prestigious engineering projects.

- Perform detailed inspections on mechanical and structural components to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
- Support non-conformance investigations and provide technical guidance on quality issues.
- Maintain accurate inspection records and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Extensive experience in quality inspection within a heavy engineering, defence, or marine environment.
- Strong understanding of relevant standards and inspection techniques.
- Ability to work effectively on site in a fast-paced, safety-critical environment
