Location: Barrow in Furness
Duration: 12 months
Hourly Rate: £32.65 PAYE
Working Arrangements: Full time on site
  
About the Role
We’re looking for multiple Senior Quality Inspector to join BAE Systems. In this role, you’ll carry out inspections during build to ensure our products meet the highest quality standards. You’ll work independently, support junior inspectors, and help drive continuous improvement across our processes.
  
Key Responsibilities:

• Perform inspections in line with inspection and test plans.
• Identify and report non-conformances using company systems.
• Use calibrated measuring equipment to verify tolerances.
• Support audits, customer walk-rounds, and quality reviews.
• Liaise with colleagues and customers to resolve quality issues.
• Promote safety, health, and environmental best practices.

  
About You

• You’ll have a strong background in quality control or inspection, with experience using mechanical measuring tools - Verniers / Micrometres
• You should understand relevant standards (such as ISO 9001/EN9100) and be confident interpreting technical specifications and drawings.
• Remote Visual Inspection (RVI) experience beneficial

  
Qualifications:

• NC/HNC in a relevant technical discipline or equivalent experience.
