Overview
We’re looking for Senior Software Developers to support the Engineering Support Subsystem (ESS)—a critical platform used by the RAF to monitor, diagnose, and maintain combat aircraft systems.
You’ll join a collaborative team developing primarily .NET (C#) desktop applications (WPF/WinForms) integrated with Oracle databases.

Key Responsibilities
- Analyse requirements and contribute to software design
- Develop and maintain robust, scalable code
- Write tests and technical documentation
- Support integration, build, and testing activities
- Contribute to tooling, standards, and team improvements
Essential:
- Strong C# / .NET experience
- Knowledge of VB6
- WPF and/or WinForms
- Git/ClearCase, Azure DevOps
- Oracle, SQL, XML
- Automated testing tools
- TDD, SOLID, Agile
- 37 hours/week, flexible working hours
- STEM degree or equivalent experience required
