Health and Safety Advisor
Based: Great Baddow (CM2 8HN)
Hourly Rate: £25.77 PAYE or £ Umbrella inside IR35
Hours: 37 Hours per week
Onsite: 3 – 4 days per week
Length: 12 months
As a SHE Advisor, you’ll play a key role in shaping and embedding a positive safety culture within our Digital Intelligence business. This is more than a compliance role – it’s an opportunity to drive continuous improvement, support innovation, and be a champion for health, safety, and environmental excellence

The Job
- Providing accurate, practical SHE advice aligned with UK legislation and internal procedures.
- Supporting compliance with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 through regular audits and inspections.
- Leading investigations into SHE incidents, ensuring root causes are identified and addressed.
- Supporting the development and delivery of SHE workshops and training sessions.
- Contributing to the development and maintenance of SHE management systems.
- Engaging with wider SHE activities, including promotional and public events.
- Seeking out innovative ways to enhance SHE delivery and performance.
- Demonstrating and encouraging positive SHE behaviours across the business.
Skills
- Strong working knowledge of UK SHE legislation.
- Familiarity with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 (Internal Auditor qualification desirable)
- Excellent written and verbal communication, including report writing.
- Confident in delivering training sessions (qualification desirable)
