Job: Supply Chain Specialist

Hourly Rate: £18.10 PAYE or £24.18 Umbrella
Location: Samlesbury - twice per week hybrid
Contract: 12 months (Opportunity to be extended)
Working Hours: 37 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day to day Order Books assigned.
- Oversee orders until assets are delivered to the customer, liaising directly with various stakeholders including Wincanton, Eurofighter, International Trade solutions, and other internal and external organisations as required.
- Ensure they achieve KPIs so we meet customer requirements
- Contribute to improving processes that are in place, review and adhered to in order to achieve targets and improve efficiencies
- Preparing for and leading Supplier and Customer facing order book reviews
- Escalation of key issues to management when required
- Competent level Microsoft Office especially Excel
- Effective and credible communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
- Effective people management skills with relevant experience in a supply chain environment
- Knowledge of Export desirable
- System knowledge of Inforln, IFS, APP7 or Cooper desirable
