Contract: 6 months
Based: Preston, Channel way
Hourly Rate: £13.94 or £18.53 umbrella inside ir35
Onsite: 1-2 days per week
Full time – 37 hours per week
  
Overview
BAE Systems is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Talent & Learning Professional to join its growing Shared Services team in Preston. This role sits within the Talent & Learning Team and provides professional administrative support across the end-to-end Learning Management Service (LMS), supporting colleagues across all business sector
  
  
  
Skills:
  • Proven experience working within a data-driven environment
  • Intermediate IT skills, particularly MS Excel
  • Strong administrative and organisational capability
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to meet business needs
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data
 
The Job
  • Deliver transactional administrative activities relating to class and delegate management for training courses
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Talent & Learning Team
  • Obtain valid quotes from external suppliers, agree course dates and upload details to the LMS
  • Monitor course utilisation to ensure value for money
  • Work closely with internal and external customers/suppliers to define and maintain effective processes
  • Manage general team administration including sending session details, issuing forms, processing certificates, updating training records and managing correspondence
  • Produce reports and maintain accurate documentation
  • Schedule and book training venues (internal and external) and arrange security requirements in line with business guidance
