Contract Length- initially 6 month but likely to be extended
£25.50 per hour- Umbrella rate

We're recruiting for an experienced Technical Author to join a leading defence client.
Key responsibilities:

We're recruiting for an experienced Technical Author to join a leading defence client.
Key responsibilities:
- Produce and review high-quality technical documentation using S1000D
- Author and edit technical publications using XML editing software
- Act as the technical point of contact, ensuring documentation is accurate and delivered to project milestones
- Review draft publications for quality, accuracy and compliance
- Support documentation processes and continuous improvement initiatives
- Recent S1000D experience (essential)
- Experience with XML editing software
- Current DBS clearance or ability to pass a DBS check
- Able to provide your own Windows 11-compatible IT equipment
