Electromechanical Technician (Manufacturing / Assembly / Rework)

We are working with a well-established engineering and manufacturing organisation specialising in advanced electronic systems used in demanding environments. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a skilled Electromechanical Technician to join their production team.

The Role
You will be responsible for the assembly, rework, and testing of complex electromechanical equipment, working to high-quality standards within a structured manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assembly and rework of electromechanical and electronic systems
• Soldering, wiring, crimping, and PCB (PCA) level work
• Following engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions
• Conducting testing and basic fault finding
• Inspecting your own work and supporting quality standards
• Raising defects and supporting continuous improvement activities
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and compliant work environment (5S, ESD, etc.)

  
What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment
• Strong hands-on experience in electromechanical or electronic assembly
• Confident in soldering, wiring, and rework (PCB experience desirable)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Experience with testing and fault finding
• Good attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving
• Basic IT skills (e.g. Word, Excel, or ERP systems)
