What You'll Be Doing:
- Collaborate across design, art, engineering, and accessibility teams to craft a seamless, engaging user experience.
- Design wireframes, flows, interaction models, and prototypes for key UI systems (menus, HUD, tutorials, codices, etc.).
- Champion user-centric design by integrating insights from playtesting, usability, and accessibility research.
- Analyse player behaviour data to identify friction points and optimize user flow.
- Create clear, actionable documentation and champion UX best practices across all gameplay and narrative experiences.
- Stay current with industry trends and bring new, bold ideas to the table.
What We’re Looking For:
- A Principal UX Designer or a Senior UX Designer ready for their next step up.
- Deep understanding of player psychology and user-centred design principles.
- Strong Unreal Engine experience (UE4/UE5).
- A player-first mindset with a passion for accessible, emotionally impactful design.
- An ability to merge cinematic storytelling and UX design seamlessly.
- Proactive team collaborator with top-tier communication and problem-solving skills.
Bonus Skills:
- Experience with Unreal Engine 5 blueprints and related tools.
- Skilled in UX design platforms such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or Axure.
- Strong interest or experience in inclusive design and accessibility.
- Experience blending cinematics and gameplay to create emotionally resonant narratives.
