P6 Planner
Client: BAE Systems
Duration: 12 Months (with opportunity for extension)
Location: Frimley, Surrey
Hourly Rate: £40 PAYE or £53.90 (Umbrella inside IR35 ~ £398 pd) 
Working Arrangements: 37 Hours per week – hybrid
Clearance Level: BPSS + SC + UK EYES ONLY
  
Overview
Providing support to the Engineering Delivery Manager in the development, delivery and maintenance of the Project Product Safety Management System and Product Safety Case to ensure Products are safe to own and legal to operate.

Skills 
  • Strong experience in Primavera P6 planning, ideally within a complex engineering or defence environment.
  • Ability to interpret technical information and translate it into detailed project schedules.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, for reporting and analysis
  
The Job
  • Develop, maintain, and update integrated project schedules using Primavera P6.
  • Provide accurate planning data to support programme decision-making and delivery.
  • Analyse progress, performance, and forecasts, and produce regular reports for stakeholders.
  • Identify risks, issues, and opportunities within the schedule and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure schedules are realistic, achievable, and aligned with project objectives.
  • Support continuous improvement of planning processes and tools.
