Qualification Infrastructure Systems Engineer 
Christchurch | ⏳ 12-month contract | 3 days on-site, 2 days WFH
Inside IR35 | Full SC required (UK Eyes Only / ITAR)

We’re seeking a Qualification Infrastructure Systems Engineer to support the design, qualification and integration of complex hardware and infrastructure systems. Reporting to the Lead Hardware Systems Engineer, you’ll work across the full engineering lifecycle, supporting system design, integration, verification and issue resolution. Occasional travel to test houses may be required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and implement technical solutions to meet customer requirements
• Support system integration, qualification and testing activities
• Provide hardware and systems engineering input to business development and de-risking activities
• Support Design Certification, Product Safety and compliance activities
• Ensure systems meet physical, electrical and environmental requirements

Key Skills & Experience:

• Strong background in Hardware and Systems Engineering
• Knowledge of the full engineering lifecycle and configuration management
• Experience with integration, testing and qualification
• Desirable: electrical engineering (e.g. BS7671), communications systems, IP networking, CAD, EMC/environmental compliance

Additional Requirements:

• Flexible approach to working hours and occasional off-site work
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Must be eligible for Full SC clearance
