6 Month Contract – 37 hours per week
Based: Remote – With occasional travel to Preston or Frimley
Day Rate: £500.00 per day or £675.00 Umbrella Inside IR35
Overview
BAE Systems are seeking an experienced SAP Basis / Solution Manager DevOps Engineer to join an established Digital team supporting enterprise-scale SAP platforms across hybrid and cloud environments.

Overview
BAE Systems are seeking an experienced SAP Basis / Solution Manager DevOps Engineer to join an established Digital team supporting enterprise-scale SAP platforms across hybrid and cloud environments.
Responsibilities
- Supporting and maintaining live SAP systems and users
- Managing SAP Solution Manager including monitoring, ITSM, ChaRM, and landscape management
- Configuring and operating SAP Cloud ALM for hybrid and cloud-centric monitoring
- Designing and maintaining SAP BTP and hybrid connectivity solutions
- Performing SAP installations, upgrades, patches, transports, and system copies
- Driving service improvements, incident reduction, and operational automation
- Working closely with Product Teams, Architects, Engineers, suppliers, and stakeholders
- Supporting Agile and DevOps delivery methodologies including Scrum and Kanban
The successful candidate will have strong hands-on SAP Basis administration experience alongside solid knowledge of:
- SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA
- SAP NetWeaver
- SAP Solution Manager
- SAP Cloud ALM
- SAP BTP
- SAP Cloud Connector and SAProuter
- Hybrid integration and connectivity
- ITIL processes and ServiceNow
