Contract: 6 Months
Working Pattern: Full Time – On Site
Security Clearance: SC Required
Hourly Rate: £37.13 per hour or £50.01 via umbrella (inside IR35)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Support Equipment Field Service Representative (SE FSR) to support the UK Lightning Force F-35 programme at RAF Marham. Acting as the primary point of contact for all F-35 Support Equipment (SE) technical, logistics and data-related matters, you will play a critical role in ensuring equipment is safe, compliant and mission ready.
Working closely with the UK Lightning Delivery Team (LDT), Support Equipment Controlling Authority (SECA), and the F-35 SE Engineering Authority, you will coordinate sustainment activity, technical support, calibration, repairs and equipment readiness across the programme.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong RAF engineering background who thrives in a highly technical and operational environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Acting as the primary point of contact for UK F-35 SE technical, logistics and data issues
- Coordinating with Fort Worth-based SE Item Managers, Engineering teams and SE leadership to resolve equipment issues
- Supporting up-line reporting to provide a global SE status picture
- Liaising with site leads and engineers to ensure effective communication of ongoing issues
- Providing familiarisation training to operators and engineers
- Assisting customers with SE-related Action Requests (ARs)
- Facilitating receipt of hardware and technical data for SE deliveries
- Delivering direct technical support, demonstrations and reach-back support from sustainment engineering teams
- Supporting SE calibration activities and facilitating calibration for the QECCs
- Coordinating off-base repairs for F-35 support equipment
- Supporting ITC SE course delivery and development
- Ensuring all activities are conducted in accordance with company Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) policies and procedures
Essential
- RAF Trade Group 5 background
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience working within an engineering or sustainment environment
- Ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders and technical teams
- Understanding of safety and compliance requirements within a defence environment
- Engineering qualification
- Previous experience supporting F-35 or military support equipment programmes
- Calibration or technical training experience
