Hourly Rate: £30.54 PAYE / £41.06 Umbrella inside IR35

Overview
Working closely with the Project Management & Control Manager, you'll lead project control activities, drive continuous improvement, and provide valuable insight that supports informed decision-making across the programme.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Lead Project Control activities across the Spartan project throughout the full project lifecycle.
- Develop and implement effective project control processes, reporting, and governance.
- Produce high-quality project reporting using project management tools and Microsoft Office applications.
- Support key financial activities including monthly Contract Status Reviews, period reforecasting, quarterly Estimates at Completion (EACs), and forecasting.
- Work collaboratively with project managers, finance teams, and stakeholders to ensure accurate planning and control.
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks and opportunities alongside the Change & Risk Project Manager.
Key Skills
- Strong experience delivering Project Control activities within complex projects.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Project Control methodologies, processes, and toolsets.
- Experience with project planning, monitoring, forecasting, reporting, scheduling, risk, and resource management.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and present clear management information.
- Experience influencing stakeholders and building strong working relationships across multiple teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound recommendations based on project data.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach with excellent organisational skills.
