Contract Length: 12 months
Hybrid: 1 / 2 time per week on site
37 hours per week
Rate: £45.00 or £60.69 Umbrella inside IR35
Overview
You’ll be responsible for managing procurement activity from tender preparation and evaluation through to negotiation, contract award and ongoing supplier performance. You’ll also have the opportunity to influence sourcing strategies, improve supply chain performance and contribute to the successful delivery of major projects.

Overview
You’ll be responsible for managing procurement activity from tender preparation and evaluation through to negotiation, contract award and ongoing supplier performance. You’ll also have the opportunity to influence sourcing strategies, improve supply chain performance and contribute to the successful delivery of major projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes for assigned construction packages, including tender documentation, tender evaluation, supplier negotiations and contract award recommendations.
- Support sourcing and procurement activities across infrastructure construction and capital projects.
- Provide procurement and commercial support to project teams, ensuring procurement activity aligns with programme requirements, budgets and business objectives.
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies within established category and business frameworks.
- Identify and manage commercial, contractual and supply chain risks throughout the procurement lifecycle.
- Significant experience working in supply chain or procurement within the construction industry.
- Detailed knowledge and practical experience of NEC and JCT construction contracts.
- Strong knowledge of construction procurement approaches, techniques, processes, policy and strategy.
